Introduction to Jon

Jon Mac is an internet marketer who has created various business courses, platforms and books such as Freedom Formula, CommerceHQ and Store Formula.

He refers to himself as "an author, speaker, coach and mentor."

But he doesn't stop there. He adds: "...If you're looking for hype, there are plenty of coaches for that! I'm about actionable plans and getting results. My passion and drive comes from actually changing my students’ lives.

There is nothing more satisfying to me, than meeting someone who had the potential for entrepreneurship, but couldn't get there, and helping them overcome obstacles, guiding them through their business and watching them grow. This is what I'm good at."

Great intro, right? Everybody loves the sweet sound of someone who seems like they're actually out to make you successful in your business.

BUT...is it all just sales talk?

Before investing in this course, there are some things you should consider...

Do you even need a business coach to succeed with dropshipping?

Read on to find all the answers about Store Formula.

Compared to the better known Dropshipping YouTubers, Jon Mac has a decent amount of subscribers, but nothing crazy.

But he is well represented on Instagram with 80,500 followers, so that's great!

MY DISCLAIMER:

I AM NOT AN AFFILIATE. Fullstop. I don't earn anything from doing my reviews. This means you don't get ANY bias at all.

What to Expect in this Course

Store Formula is a 4 week course that contains 53 tutorials with a length of 9 hours and 17 minutes.

Store Formula is an online e-learning course with step-by-step video instructions on how to start and grow a stable and successful eCommerce business from scratch.

The course can be accessed from any device with internet connectivity and is regularly updated.

The course also gives you access to Jon's CommerceHQ, It's an alternative eCommerce platform to Shopify.

This leads to some pretty heated CommerceHQ vs Shopify debates (and even CommerceHQ vs Woocommerce) but...more on that later.

The course centers around you building up to 6 online stores, using CommerceHQ and Jon's methods and guidance.

This is what Store Formula claims to offer you:

6 stores on CommerceHQ for 1 Year

You get 1 year of free access to the "highest converting eCommerce platform in the world." The access alone is worth $3,588. Using Jon's software, you can have an online store setup with sales funnels and other tools to help get you some conversions within 24 hours.

Alumni Community

You get access to a community of over three thousand students on a private Mastermind FB Group. They are there to help motivate you through any obstacles you encounter.

Proven Results

According to Jon, the program has created "Thousands of successful students, 32 millionaires and 256 6-figure earners". Jon states that their success can be attributed to the course and his continued mentorship of the group.

Results are guaranteed for action takers!

Jon says you need to take action daily or you wont get anywhere with your business and I couldn't agree more.

In the intro video, Jon states that success will depend on you and whether you take massive action.

The Store Formula Course Breakdown

This course contains 53 different video lessons, with 9 hours and 17 minutes viewing time.

Welcome

In the very first video of the course, Jon introduces himself briefly and tells you he created this course for two types of people:

- those who know nothing about eCommerce and are starting from scratch,

- and those with existing eCommerce businesses, looking to take their business to the next level.

In the second video, Jon explains how the course works.

Total Video Length: 8 minutes & 58 seconds

Week 1: Ten Modules

This module is dedicated to setting up your CommerceHQ online stores quickly and getting into the right mindset for eCommerce success (mindset is key, and I wouldn't trust a coach who didn't discuss this subject, so I like this.)

CommerceHQ includes everything you need for a successful store with high conversion rates. It's got different themes and apps to utilize, and you can build and host up to six stores on the platform for a year.

Jon recommends starting with a general store. You find winning products and learn how to add those products to CommerceHQ. Later on, you'll build niche stores as well.

All the themes and CommerceHQ apps you need to succeed with your Ecommerce business are included.

When you get down to it, it's a fast and easy way to get set up and get going. In fact, you should be able to get your store launched and live within 24 hours or less, because everything comes "out of the box" and is ready to go.

Once you install the theme and all the apps, find your domain and create a logo, you start loading up products.

Circling back to that whole CommerceHQ vs. Shopify thing, this is one place where people like to make comparisons. This process I just explained is supposed to be easier and more streamlined than Shopify.

If you get stuck for whatever reason, the Store Formula support team is really good. They only offer an email client support system, but feedback is generally very good.

Because store setup is so easy, most of this module is dedicated to the right mindset. Since Jon is a business coach, this is to be expected. Jon does deliver through and he's pretty motivational.

At first glance, you might have gotten some PTSD flashbacks from high school algebra, but don't worry it ain't like that.

Basically your Current State + Plan and Daily Execution x Time you put into it = Your Dream Life.

That's probably the coolest equation I've come across!

Total Video Length: 2 hours & 37 minutes

Week 2: 14 modules

This week's modules focus entirely on finding hot and proven Commerce HQ products for your store.

Jon states that in this business you don't want to reinvent the wheel - go with what works. He shows you how to find proven products that work via Facebook feeds and to try it out for yourself.

In addition, Store Formula has a special software that allows you to look at all the ads that are running on Facebook. This makes it super easy to identify great products.

Jon stresses that you only need one product per store to make you 6-figures a month.

Profit margin and pricing are very important for selecting your products and Jon takes you through that entire process in the Week 2 module as well.

Total Video Length: 2 hours & 17 minutes

Week 3: 11 modules

This section is all about Facebook Ads. Most new courses spend an hour on this topic and expect you to be an expert afterwards. This course spends double that at least...

Facebook allows you to jumpstart your e-commerce business very quickly, but you have to know what you're doing.

According to Jon, his team cracked the algorithm and found out the best way to use Facebook ads. He promises that you will get profitable and consistent results with the products you're promoting.

Seeing that this is the fourth version of Store Formula, they are constantly updating their methods.

As it stands, Lesson 3 in this Module shows you exactly how to set up an Ad Campaign according to Jon's method. Not many courses give you this depth of detail when it comes to their "secret FB Ads formula".

Total Video Length: 1 hour & 55 minutes

Week 4: 11 modules

Week Four's Module is called "outsource."

In these modules, Jon teaches you how to build your team to allow you to create the lifestyle of your dreams...not just get you stuck in another 9 to 5 job.

By building a team, you will have the support your business needs to run the day-to-day tasks. Delegating tasks will free up more time to focus on the bigger picture, which is growth.

Jon goes through the entire process of who to hire, when to hire them, where to find them, and how to interview them.

Usually people will recommend that you hire someone when you start having trouble handling everything yourself.

Jon doesn't drink that Kool-Aid.

He suggests you start employing people as soon as your sales start coming in.

Jon tells you that you should hire people for customer service, people to launch your ads, then eventually you'll even need a full on project manager.

Total Video Length: 1 hour & 29 minutes

Bonus: 5 Modules

At the time of writing this review, I had access to 5 previous Q&A sessions with Jon.

Things I liked about the weekly live calls:

You get answers to any questions about the training.

Jon does random "hot seats" where you can actually talk to him during the call session.

All the calls are recorded, so you can refer back to them at any time.

Total Video Length: 48 minutes

Is it a worthwhile course?

If we only judge the course by the testimonials of students and the 5 star ratings on the course landing page, then yes.

I went through the course and personally have to agree that it's the best dropshipping course on the market this year, 20201!

Image

I will say, the course is well laid out and structured, and each section keeps you busy for the week it covers.

Cool Fact: Unlike other courses, Store Formula actually closes at times and does not take new students until the current batch of students has worked through the program.

Image

In case you can't read that (Jon's site font is very faint) it reads:

"This program is currently not accepting new members but you can contact us to request an invite by pressing the contact us link above."

So if you have the option to sign up, here's what you need to know:

The course content is great and very detailed, comprehensive.

You will learn everything you need to know about Ecommerce.

You will get the best possible support in the ecommerce industry.

You get up to 6 stores hosted for you on CommerceHQ for a year. This includes the themes and apps.

Image

Some of the CommerceHQ features:

1-Click upsells

Upsell campaign builder

Native apps to increase conversion rates such as Creating Urgency and Social Proof

Accordion checkout page

Visual drag and drop builder

Abandoned cart recovery

Zero processing fees

And 15 other features, all of which you can see here.

This is the best course and opportunity for 2021 and you would be crazy to miss out on this 5th wave of Ecommerce right now because of all the crazy lockdowns and economic turmoil last year and this year.

Review Conclusion

Jon Mac's Store Formula is exactly what I was looking for. It's 100% filled with step by step detailed tutorials showing you how to launch your store, drive traffic and sales, do fulfillment and even sell your store for 7 figures down the road.

And then there's the question of CommerceHQ...

Is CommerceHQ good enough to replace a tried and tested platform like Shopify?

At the moment, the answer is 100% YES!

CommerceHQ has been around since 2017 with over 10,000 merchants and over $1 Billion in sales platform wide.

In conclusion, Store Formula is the best all-in-one Ecom training and software program on the planet! Highly recommended.
